Sommerset House hosts, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo and many more

Over the last month and a half Somerset house marked the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification, Masters of Style brought together six of Italy’s most influential fashion houses to celebrate the stories behind Italian fashion. looking at defining moments from the advertising campaigns, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo, Gucci, Missoni and Prada showcased a personally hand-picked selection of images from their collections and archives, bringing to life iconic style moments and offering an insight into the passion and influences behind their work.

This exhibition is finished now but for free admission The interdisciplinary exhibition, curated by acclaimed furniture designers Jim Partridge and Liz Walmsey, brings together ten well-know artists displaying an unusual juxtaposition of 21st century objects including furniture, fine art photography, ceramics, jewellery, painting and textiles, some of which will be for sale, and explores the links between each art form.
